Venue address

EWEA 2014 will take place at Fira de Barcelona Gran Via in Barcelona in Spain. The event venue is situated only a short distance from both Barcelona’s El Prat international airport (7 km) and the city centre itself, making it an ideal location for international and domestic business. The main entrance for EWEA 2014 will be the North entrance, which can easily be reached with a shuttle bus service from the South entrance and the nearest train and metro station.

Travel information

By plane

Barcelona’s El Prat international airport, is the unique airport of Barcelona situated really close to the city centre, at just 14km away. It has two terminals, T1 and T2, in which around 100 companies operate. After you arrive at the airport, you can reach Fira de Barcelona Gran Via by taxi or train.

…continuing by car/taxi

The Gran Via venue is located 12km away from the airport by taking the motorway C-31/Barcelona Centre ciutat. It will take you around 15 minutes to reach the venue.

…continuing by train

You can reach the venue by taking the R2 Nord train line to Gornal station, where you have to change to the S4, S8, S33, R5, or R6 train or the L8 metro line to Europa/Fira. From the Europa/Fira station there will be a shuttle bus operating on the event days, which brings you to the North entrance of the Fira Gran Via.

By car

The Gran Via venue is located in a new business development area, connected to the main motorways and roads to Barcelona: AP-7, AP-2, A-2, C-16, C-58, C-31, C-32, C-33

Parking permits for the duration of the event, including build up and breakdown, can be purchased on site at the customer service desk in the Tibidabo suite.
There are 310 parking lots in front of Hall 8 and 911 parking lots in front of Hall 6.
The parking fee is 25€ per day or 80€ for the whole event.

By local train (FCG)

The Europa/Fira train station is the closest station to the Gran Via venue. You can reach this station via the train lines (FCG): S33, S4, S8, R5 and R6. From the Europa/Fira station there will be a shuttle bus operating on the event days, which brings you to the North entrance of the Fira Gran Via. By national and international train (Renfe)
