Breaking the boundaries: taking your business outside of Europe

Wind energy in Europe is still living through turbulent times. But if you’re looking to expand outside the European box, then the “Doing Business In…”  GWEC led session at EWEA 2014 on Wednesday 12 March in Barcelona could be your key to three markets currently showing massive wind energy prospects: Brazil, South Africa and Mexico.

“Brazil, South Africa and Mexico are all wind energy hot spots with rapid growth potential,” said Steve Saywer, Secretary General at the Global Wind Energy Council. “At this highly-anticipated GWEC led session at the EWEA 2014 Annual Event next month, experts will lay out the opportunities as well as the nitty gritty of the constraints,” he continued.

With speakers from the Brazilian Wind Energy Association, the South African Wind Energy Association and Gamesa representing the Mexican Wind Energy Association, this session will centre on the practical information you need to take your business outside of Europe and into exciting, new markets.

Before this GWEC led session, on Tuesday 11 March, Apex-Brasil and the Brazilian Wind Power Association will present “Invest in Brazil – Wind Energy” at a side event attended by representatives from the Brazilian government. For those with an eye on a rapidly expanding economy, this event is a networking must.
