The exclusive EWEA 2012 Members’ Reception was held in the luxurious Royal Danish Playhouse. This new national centre of dramatic art was designed by the Danish architectural practice Lundgaard and Tranberg.
Members got the chance to visit the new Royal Danish Playhouse and its impressive architecture and also meet and network with over 500 top industry representatives.

In connection with EWEA 2012 and as part of the Mindblowing Denmark programme, Copenhagen and the Capital City Region are organising a public festival called Mindblowing Copenhagen at Ofelia Beach next to the Royal Danish Playhouse. The spotlight will be on wind energy and how to use sustainable energy in everyday lives. The offshore wind power installation vessel, Sea Energy, is harboured at Ofelia Beach and is part of the festival together with a 58 metre long wind blade featured in the 400 MW Anholt Offshore Wind Farm exhibition. Prior to the EWEA members’ reception there will be an opportunity to experience the festival and go aboard Sea Energy. So join the Members’ Reception early and get a “hands-on” offshore wind experience.
